Short, right angle connector is a nice feature. Cable appears to be of really good quality. Has decent strain relief on the connectors. My only beef is that there is no insulation on in the inside around the pin area like most BNC connectors. We did not use it for video but worked great for oscilloscopes at high oscillating frequencies.

I needed a very short SDI cable to go from a converter box to a monitor, and this did the trick. It’s a good quality cable, and it’s short enough that it doesn’t add any extra tangled wired to my setup.

I'm a full time filmmaker and just this past week a defective SDI cable almost cost me a job. I was outputting a Switcher to an Atomos Recorder and began to experience drop frames. Then the recorder began "shutting down" it would black and come back recording but losing segments and initiating a new recording file. Creepy. I began a backup recording in camera and switched the recorder. But got no signal!After I calmed down from the ULTMATE freaking out (my backup was not working either) I tried to change the cable and voila! strong uninterrupted signal for the rest of the 2 day conference.I do take good care of my cable so I don't know what happened with that one. This one looks like is build for endurance, what I'm looking for. The only think I dislike is that is 90 degrees on both ends. This may be a problem.I'll have another 2 day seminar at the end of may and I'll test this one and give an update. So far works and looks sturdy but so did my old cable.

I use these to connect cameras to recorders. The right angle BNC connects easily and firmly. The 12" length is plenty and eliminates excess cableageness ( look that one up). I highly recommend.
