I wanted to hook up my Surfans f28 to the coax input on my Sony receiver without having to use a DAC and this cable works great. The sound quality using this cable is excellent. Pricy but worth it.

Both my NAD C658 (pre-amp) and the NAD C3050 (amp) don't have USB-A inputs. If so, a USB-C from the computer to the USB-A on the back of the NAD pre-amp/amp would have digital music from the computer to the amplifier. However, if there is no USB-A connection on the back of the pre-amp/amp the USB-C computer output can connect a music source to the pre-amp/amp by using this digital coaxial adapter. The coaxial adapter is quality made and permits digital music files to stream from the computer to the pre-amp/amp and out to the speakers.

Lo conecté de un DAP Hiby r3 pro saber al DAC SMSL su1 y hay un click cada que comienza una canción, y se pierde el primer segundo de reproducción.

I bought this to play hi-rez lossless 192/24 through Apple Music on a 4th gen iPad Pro to a NAD 3020 v2 with a coax input. The whole setup works great. The build quality of this cable is exceptional - high quality braided cabling, a solid feeling USBC connector, and the RCA coax (with the electronics, I assume) connector on the other end looks great. I bought a small USBC hub with power delivery, and plug this adapter and PD into the hub, then plug the hub into the iPad and the whole thing is powered and still works great. Tested with several 192k/24bit tracks, but also works with lower bitrate hi-rez such as 96k/24bit. I was going to buy one of the external audio converters, but this cable does it all for less and looks great.

I just plugged it into my new MacBook and my 7-year-old Onkyo integrated amp. It sounds great, and I can have one less piece of clutter on my desk (external DAC). For it to work, I had to go to system settings on the Mac and set the sound output to the USB.

I purchased this cable to directly compare to another electronic box converter (Douk Audio U2 USB Converter XMOS XU208 Digital Interface TOSLINK COAX DSD 192KHz) from USB to digital coax for the input of a pair of LS 50 W2s that leads to the speakers internal DAC. This did the job with what felt like good results to achieve the widest band width possible for the digital coax input on my speakers. That said, for $43 it was worth a try to give this cable an audition. Here's my assessment. The bass is ever so slightly more present. The mids feel smother with a greater degree of naturalness and warmth. The highs feel about the same, maybe less brittle. Certainly zero added listening fatigue. It's a process to A / B this with the Douk black box in that you have to disconnect and reconnect the digital coax to the speaker, so you really have to have auditory memory for what you are listening for in the differing setup. This said, I consider myself to be an audiophile with this ability, so I will be shelving the Douk unit for this cable which likely deploys chips at either or both ends of the cable to accomplish the digital conversion. At $43, if you need a cable of this nature I think your ears will be please. Recommended.
