So I perform live and run a mixer as well for local bar bands, this is a really decent cable. I used this from DI out of pedal boards and from guitar amps. I also used this in several microphones on drum set and vocals. I have not not experienced any issue with this after a couple months of hard work.The cables have been wound up and redeployed, stepped on several times. I also used them in a relay for DMX lighting system I have as well when I am running the whole show. It has worked flawlessly.

One of the features that sets this cable apart is the ground isolation rings. I have used inferior cables that leak noise through to the speakers. It's not only annoying but also not good for the equipment. These cables are sturdy, rugged, but really feel good and durable. My needs are basic and at the hobby, not professional level. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

These cables work as expected and are not noisy at all. I have them installed in a static set up so I expect them to last forever. They appear to be of good quality but probably wouldn't stand up to serious gigging for more than a little while. I would order again.It is not a popular opinion, but I believe ferrite beads are helpful in suppression noise in audio cables in certain situations (especially large guitar pedal boards). I would order again.

"The shield is still up."The ground pin on my TIMEYES XLR Patch Audio Cord is wired to the shell. I thought that practice is discouraged because that could pick up hum from legacy equipment it is connected to. I used this cable to connect an amp to a processor and it didn't pick up any stray signals. Your mileage will vary if you have some older equipment. I ran this cable for a couple of weeks and it seems to be holding up, but I didn't move the cable once it was plugged in. The braided cable jacket is flexible - about the same flexibility and thickness as an ethernet cable. There weren't any differences that I could hear between this cable and the one it replaced. Given the relatively short length of the connections, I didn't think I would hear any differences. The anti-interference magnetic rings (ferrite beads) on the cable is an interesting addition intended to prevent electromagnetic interference (EMI). I am sure there is a good reason for the manufacturer to have added those "rings", but I haven't seen them on my other XLR cables before and I don't know if it is needed here.
