The good:The musician love these, and we've had almost no dropout problems using this with the transmitter located about 50 ft from the stage (with a clear line of sight). The bad:Purchased this for our church in December of 2023. By July of 2024, channels 1 and 2 on the transmitter had failed, and the RF indicator LED on one of the receivers no longer illuminated. CAD support replaced the whole kit under warranty, but not a good omen for future longevityThe annoying:The receivers chew through AA batteries pretty quickly, although that may be at least in part due to musicians changing them out too early out of paranoia. The battery compartment is too short to accommodate *any* rechargeable battery I've tried because there are thick "bolsters" on either side of the spring for the negative poles of the batteries. I've tried every kind of rechargeable battery that I could find, and not one of them has fit, so I just buy the cheapest alkaline AA cells I can find and keep changing them.

We use it for our church service. So far we have had almost no issues. One pack was losing signal. But since we changed frequency, no more issues. The range is very good at about 50-60 ft. Gonna bring the unit on stage so the interference is limited

I play bass in a cover band with a loud drummer. This IEM system is not loud enough and the bass response is not good enough either. I've tried my better ear buds and changed PA settings but could not get it loud enough or improve the bass response enough. There is also a constant hiss. When you have sound coming through the system the hiss is not noticeable. It's only when it's supposed to be quiet where the hiss is annoying. I could have dealt with the hiss if the bass response was good and it was loud enough.I returned it. For reference, the IEMS that I'm trying to replace is the Audio Technica M2. I've been very happy with that IEMS but unfortunately, it's using the UHF frequency range that is illegal in the U.S. since 2020.

If you're going to be performing in one set place, like a church, this is what you want. It's easy to use, quick to set up, and there's a lot of info online if you get confused about something. In our situation, we do different venues every time. We never know what kind of sound system we'll be working with, or how much time we'll have for setup, so for us this wasn't really feasible. In order to get separate mixes for each person, you'll need to have separate AUX outs (so for this unit, you'll need four).Think of it this way:You need a way to mix each unit without affecting the mains or other monitors. Let's assume each strip has four Aux sends. So you might put Lead Vocalist to Aux1 out, Backup 1 to Aux 2 out, Backup 2 to Aux 3 out, and Backup 3 to Aux 4 out. Now you set the mix in strip 1 (lead vocalist) so Aux1 is loudest, and the three other Aux are set evenly, but lower. Then you do the same for each of the other strips, so they can hear themselves louder but still hear everyone else at a lower volume. Also understand that you're using two earbuds, so you're not going to hear the onstage volume as much (which may not be a bad thing!) If this all sounds like it works for your situation, GET THIS. The price is more than fair.
