Pay attention to the pics of the box styles. Those with light-colored inside panels don't have too many attachment points. Those with a black panel have 1/8" holes on about a 3/8" (or metric equivalent?) spacing. They'll take a 1/2" #8/#9 screw, which makes it super easy to mount things inside in almost any configuration - Wifi routers, fuse blocks, power strips, etc.

Nice sturdy and weatherproof box. The plastic mounting grid in the back makes it easy to mount multiple devices inside. Conduit openings at the bottom work great for running high and/or low voltage wiring to external devices.Vents on the sides allow for airflow to help cool items inside.I mounted mine outside to hold multiple gate control boxes.

Very solid appearance and feel. The inner plate, attached to the back wall appears strong. Looks enough to support some items. The corner mounting blocks can rotate for versatility when wall-mounting.It's pretty solidly built, looks good. Mounting plates are pretty solid for small-ish items. This box definitely met my expectations for durability and performance. I've got a switch and some other power connections running through it.I had to order two as the first one showed up with broken hinges, made of plastic, they were simply broken and disconnected from the door. So, they sent me a new one. Good service.

I got the 15.7"H* 11"L* 5.9"W size as I wanted a lot of room to add Solar Panel Charging components. I plan to use this outside to drive 12V to a lot of individual solar projects using a single set of solar panels as opposed to small ones mounted all over the home. What I liked about this JB is it looked and seem well built, and I do like the exhaust holes on each side. In this Alabama heat/humidity the importance of removing that internal heat build up. My last JB had the door literally warp due to the internal heat/humidity.The internal component board is well spaced on what appears to be a 3/16 x 3/16 spacing. SHould have no problem matching hole patterns to just about anything. A 3D printer can make any adapter which I have done on other projects. Now for the cons:Should note that all of these cons are more personal preference and suggestions for improvement, so they are not going to impact the star rating. As it sits the box will be fine for 99% of the applications it was designed for.The vents I would have preferred the hole pattern/size to accommodate a 40mm fan. It is close, I can probably enlarge the holes and make it work, would have just been nice to match an existing pattern. If you plan to mount fans you can double tape them on or use foam sealing tape. The upper two vents should be set to expel the air, while the bottom two vents should be pulling new air in.Also one thing I learned is wasps like hot areas and those vents will allow wasps in, so a small metal screen between the vent/box will solve that. ON the fans I plan to use an internal thermistor to control internal temps. One last thing is anytime you seal something in Alabama heat/Humidity you need a way for that humidity to get out or it will corrode everything inside. A very small hole, less than a 1/64in in each corner would allow any "sweat" that develops in the case to flow out.If I get all of my parts sourced I will update the review with pictures. Or if I find this Alabama Heat/Humidity is more then the box can handle I will update as well.

Is this the box you want? I don't know. Do you need something that has vents for something that might get hot? Do you want something with a lower profile than other brands? Yes? Then this is your box! I got this box to mount a NVR for my security system in. I also needed to mount an HDMI to ethernet extender and a network switch in it. I've bought higher quality boxes in the past, but this one won me over because it's only as deep as I need for my equipment, so it's not going to stick out too far on my wall. It also has well designed vents for my equipment, so it doesn't get too hot. The vents are not "bug" proof, but you can fix that by cutting some screen and gluing it on the inside. I also like that the knock-outs on the bottom are notched so you can slide larger cables through. The ear's for mounting are external and is big plus in my opinion because it makes it easier to mount to a wall. F.Y.I, the dimensions listed are all outside dimensions. This box is what I would consider a "budget" box. I have bought more expensive boxes that have stainless steel hinges and latches. This one has plastic hinges and latches. Not a deal breaker for me because the plastic is fairly thick and I think they will last a long time. I also wouldn't mount this outside unless my equipment was also rated for outside. It is certainly weather resistant, though I wouldn't call it weather proof. Is this the box you want? For me the answer was yes - it met all of my requirements and more. I don't think you will be disappointed, the pictures they provide are a very accurate portrayal and it is very sturdy.
