I've only used it to proof bread dough but it does really well. Takes all the guess work out. Good value for money and very simple to use. Folds away so easy to store.

It’s easy to use and store when you are not using it. Reduces the time necessary to thaw and proof your frozen pizza dough by hours. Love it!

Almost got five stars. I found an old toaster-oven rack that fits inside exactly. Then I spaced that an inch off of the bottom. Now it works beautifully. It killed most of my sourdough starter before, cooked from beneath by the time heat was up to temperature up to the sensor atop the dough, and so was failing to rise properly. An inch high rack inside, between the heater and the dough, is needed. This box is tall, allowing that easily. Also, mine shuts off after 12 hours. If I proof 2 or 3 batches of dough, and add more hours while doing that, it will still shut off after the initial 12 hours. It is necessary to turn it off and back on to reinitialize between batches to get additional hours.This box is very well made, sewn excellently, and looks like it will last me many years. It will easily maintain too high a heat for proofing in a sixty degree room, so heating power is no issue.
