This is a great addition to my portable bathtub! It keeps it nice and warm until I'm ready to get in! Works quickly and gets to the temperature I set it to! I also love that it has a temperature maintenance feature so it kicks back on in case the water starts to cool down. I have a tendency to get distracted, so it's nice that it keeps it warm until I'm actually ready! I think it would also be great for adding warmth to a kiddy pool! I'm sure I'll find many more uses for this great heater! Great value and durability! Definitely recommend!

I bought this because we live in an apartment with a very small water heater, the hot water only lasts for a 15 minute shower. I'm a fitness nut that likes to take warm baths after intense workouts to ease muscle soreness but of course our hot water only lasts 5 minutes when filling the tub. These has fixed that problem. But be warned if you're using this for a bath, it will take a minute for it to warm the entire tub. Something I did is right when I get home from the gym, I fill the tub up, throw this in set my desired temp, then wait about an hour, and it's perfect! It has an auto shut off/on so it's always the desired temp, it functions well, and it has a good build quality! Only thing that would make it better is if it had hot tub like jets attacked to it to make it a full Jacuzzi experience.

My water heater broke. Although the shower didn’t, there wasn’t an efficient way for me to get hot water. I purchased this immersion heater along with the Wadeo camp shower on Amazon.I filled a 5 gallon water bucket in my shower with water, used the immersion heater to warm the water. The water heats up pretty quickly about 10 minutes to the preferred temperature I like of 125° for my shower. It likely heats faster to the lowest level. It goes higher but I actually haven’t put it past 175 as that is too hot for me to shower. This has been such a relief to use as I wait for my water heater to be replaced. I can move it around the house and warm the water in the kitchen sink and in my bathroom sink if needed since I don’t have a current water heater. I feel very lucky to have found this device and would recommend if you need a efficient way to get hot water. I also wrote a review for the camp shower. I mentioned that if you were living from your car or camping that it would be a nice device to help you shower however the immersion heater relies on a three prong outlet to supply the energy so it may be difficult to use you without a generator.
