I have only received this item recently, but I am pleased with the quality and storage capacity of this backpack. I appreciate the removable bags, since I can lighten the bag as needed. I have not yet tested it's water resistance, but after doing that, I will return to update my review.

The item is not an ALICE pack, which is the impression their ad creates. The compass has a thermometer on the opposite side as well as a whistle...it would be nice if either one worked, - they are both the smallest compass and thermometer I have ever seen - but they do not work at any size...it is not a large backpack...it is medium, at best. They state in their ad that it is for men as well as women...not how I would put it...a person of smaller stature would not find difficulty in carrying this, a larger person would not, I repeat, WOULD NOT, be satisfied in the least.They also title it a Bug Out Bag (BOB)...if you can place three days survival supplies into this BOB you are a much better packer than I, and I was in the Navy where packing is taught as a fine art.The Molle System is a joke...I am sure the U.S. Army would laugh at the description presented here. The attachments are plastic and not the rugged kind one would prefer to use in the Great Outdoors, much less city dwelling survival.Look for something else.

Zippers seem pretty good,problem material is stiff right now and zippers are hard to operate even with zipper pulls I put on them.after 2 times carrying,the clip that came with a compass/thermometer actually both of them FELL OUT ON THE GROUND,the adhesive sucks,so I super glued them back in but the actual compass/ thermometer work really good just watch it when they fall out. Plenty of room for everything,arm straps seem to cut off my shoulder circulation but oh well.. pretty good pack so far

Thick, stiff nylon makes this bag very difficult to mold upon unpackaging. Extra pouches don't attach well onto the main bag tightly. They stay loose and leaves the possibility to be ripped off. Bag has alot of space and is weather resistant, just still struggling with bag keeping shape and keeping extra pouches attached when they are full.Good quality for the price.

Great bag for the most part but it’s not quality like other bags I’ve gotten from Amazon at same price point. The zippers are hard to zip, as to be expected with the lesser quality zipper. There’s also only 1 zipper on most the compartments which I didn’t like so much. I mean, it will get the job done but I’d like those zippers to work more smoothly…
