It works ! I can now control my volume with TV remote. I'm using a Fosi BT20A amplifier hooked to two book shelf speakers . Couldn't be happier.

ARCにつないでも接続と切断を繰り返して使えませんでした。類似品があまりなく、見つけたと思って楽しみにしていたのに残念です。

モニタースピーカー（PRESONUS）をテレビに繋いででテレビのリモコンで音量操作したい！と言う欲求を見事解消してくれたコスパ最高な商品です！HDMI ARC端子に接続、ヘッドホン端子で接続してた時より音が格段に良くなりました。無駄な帯域が消えてスッキリ分離感が増しました。LGのテレビで、音量数値は仕様上出ませんが、ちゃんとリモコンでVol.調整できました。買って良かったです。

Used to output audio to a pair of stereo bookshelf speakers from an LG UT81 TV. Tried Bluetooth, but the latency was variable so impossible to adjust for. Tried optical, but this provided no volume control.This has no appreciable delay, the TV remote volume control still works, and the device powers up and down with the TV.Only 2 slight quibbles:1) you have to give up an HDMI port,2) there is sometimes a bit of a 'pop' or 'thump' through the speakers when the device wakes up. Doesn't seem loud enough to cause damage though.All-in-all, 100% better than built-in speakers!
