This is the third time in a year of purchasing Canon Original Toner that the box was taped shut upon arrival. Opening the box it is found that the cartridge is a used cartridge placed back in the internal plastic shipping container. It has happened twice when purchasing a complete Cartridge Set and once when purchasing a single color. Check your product immediately upon arrival.

Replaced some other toners that were streaking, bought it since it was suppose to last longer than the other brand. Replaced it and no more color streaks on the Paper when printing.

We've had many different brands of printers over the years. Whenever we've tried moving to non-proprietary refill cartridges, the ink heads "gum up" and our printer is "toast". We've learned, ever so slowly, that it's worth the money to use the "certified", proprietary inks. Whatever they have in them, keeps the printers working. I just wish they'd come at a slightly more reasonable cost but I tell myself, it's worth the money for the health of the printer and the environment - Canon has a free, courier paid, easy to use, cartridge return system whereby they recycle and reuse the majority of materials.

I've had a number of printers over the years, mostly laser but some inkjet, and one thing I've learned the hard way is "compatible" ink and toner is invariably inferior in one or more ways to the original and causes various issues. I guess it's cheaper for a reason, and, in this case, most of the reason is not the name. Original ink and toner has always performed well in my printers, and better than the compatibles. So at this point, I will no longer purchase compatibles, and I'm OK with paying more for original toner. By the way, these original Canon toner cartridges print very well, and the high-capacity makes them a bit less expensive per page.
