It does everything a good printer should do. As just a hobbyist, I do a lot of work with graphics and pictures and love its' features especially its' larging/shrinking capabilities.

The TR4720 was a breeze to setup in PCLinuxOS. Just had to download and uncompress the cnijfilter2-6.30-1-rpm.tar.gz and then install the RPM file. I than setup the printer in CUPS. Took me less then 15 minutes to be all setup and printing.I am impressed by the speed and the print and color quality. I am disappointed that they do not include a USB cable, which is a USB 2.0 A/B I would recommend the TR4720 to anyone using Linux for a simple and straight forward printer when it comes to setup. It is well worth the money.

Purchased this Canon printer and inserted and used the starter printer cartridges. 100 days after purchase, the black starter cartridge ran out of ink and I replaced it with a brand new Canon cartridge. The printer will not recognize any cartridge but the starter cartridge and so no longer works. In other words, it was defective when we purchased it. The seller refuses to exchange or work with me to resolve. Do not buy from this vendor unless you can afford to throw away your money. Despicable lack of service after selling a defective product.

No geral a impressora é muito boa, porém a bandeja onde sai o papel é fraca e pode quebrar facilmente

Son muy caros sus cartuchos de tinta, no lo recomiendo.

El plástico es de muy baja calidad. Muchas funciones son manuales. El ADF es muy malo, te arruga las hojas y todo sale chueco. No es ahorradora de tinta y los cartuchos muy caros. Son mejores las HP!
