Excellent way to protect your tools and keep them tethered. Whether you're connecting them to a ladder, belt, or structure they do a great job of making sure you don't lose your tools. Just be careful that if an item were to drop it wouldn't swing and hit a window.

I got these thinking I would use these for what they are intended for. They work well for that. But they are more than that.... they are really solutions looking for problems. For example, we got a rescue dog that likes to pull on the leash. I used one of these on the leash to create a little give. Since he is a Husky, he is likely to run away. So when I am hiking with him, I secure one of these to my belt to a second leash. In other words, they are nice to have around so you are ready when you need a mini bungy loop and D Ring. I got these free with Vine, but I definitely will buy more when I need them.

Here are my thoughts on the Carivia Tool Lanyard with Buckle Strap. This is a pack of 5. Bright orange (easy to find) with adjustable loop end and carabiner clip. The strap and bungie section seem really well made and strong. The stitching is nice and solid, using thick thread and crossed stitch. The bungie is fine, if you use any other fall protective designed equipment, this is similar. It gives only so far, as designed. Obviously it's not for large or very heavy items. The wrench I have pictured is a good size and weight for it, imho. The loop at the end is made of rope and has one of those plastic spring plugs to cinch down onto whatever you're putting in there. Woks fine. The carabiner is ok, but nothing I'd want my life to depend on really. This is a handy device to have while working at heights. Both for safety as well as handiness. Nothing aggravates like having to climb down because you dropped something.I find it useful for setting up my tree stands and lock-on deer stands as well (maybe I'll dye it another color)...

Very good for tools when climbing on scaffolding or a ladder. Tools do tend to fall at times and if someone is below...injury. These prevent injury and reduce the need to climb down to get a tool that has fallen.
