This worked perfectly. The initial pairing process was easy and after that, the subsequent connects were fast and rock solid. No issues at all with latency and we were able to use maps and spotify without any issues. Haven't run into any problems with it at all.

Product being reviewed: CarlinKit Mini Wireless CarPlay Adapter Upgraded 2 in 1 Android Auto Wireless dongle MINI5 PRO Upgrade Wired CarPlay to Wireless CarPlay - Upgrading Wired Android Auto to Wireless Android AutoWe've gone through a few wireless Android Auto adapters (other brands) over the last six months. I finally ordered this Carlinkit unit, which I've heard good things about. It's roughly the size of a USB flash drive, but with USB-A on one side and USB-C on the opposite side.Connecting it to our Subaru Outback was easy enough. Just connect to bluetooth the Carlinkit provides and setup is done quickly. It works well with Android Auto maps, music, etc. No lag or disconnection issues yet.I don't know if this is normal for Carlinkit, but various places mention this model as the "Mini Pro", "Mini5 Pro", or "Mini SE". For example, the front of the package says "Mini Pro". The back of the package and device says "Mini SE". The listing page says both. Who knows. I wish the company could be more consistent.One con for our car is this unit sticks straight out of the USB port and blocks access to our phone holder. I wish it came with a short angled USB cord. But this is also partially Subaru's fault for putting a USB port in this location.Overall, the Carlinkit Mini SE/Mini5 Pro/Mini Pro seems to work well. I'll update my review if it fails early.

I have a 2024 SUV with a built in Nav system. The system works ok in a pinch (like if I forgot my phone) but I much prefer how every aspect of the Android system built into my phone works. This adapter makes the whole thing even better.Connection could not have been simpler. I plugged into the USB jack (it was first idetified by car as a Carplay device - I ignored that), waited about 15 seconds, and then went to the connection settings in the phone. I scrolled until I saw a new entry which said VehiConn_XXXX. I taped on that and the phone asked if I wanted to pair. I said yes (at this point the car switched to identifying it as a Android Auto device) and my phones system appeared on the screen - that's it - done!I am very happy with the wireless adapter. My phone is a Samsung and my vehicle is a Tucson. Hopefully there will be no issues with longevity. If there are, I will come back and update this review. For ease of connection, I do recommend this wireless adapter.
