although always zipped up gently, never stressing the 'teeth' of the zipper-tape or forcing the actual zipper/slider mechanism, within just a few weeks the zipper no longer worked. it wasn't off-track, or jammed, etc., the zip-slider just wouldn't go down the track any longer.

I ended up returning it and bought a different one with a straight zipper.This one was ridiculously hard to open.

I use this on my sailboat that I live on in the Caribbean. They work great and much better than using fuses.

Just installed these on My car solar setup. Easy disconnecting. You're not suppose to have your panels hooked up without a battery hooked up. So it makes it nice and easy to disconnect the panels when I need to service or remove the battery
