I did not iron it when I opened it, it's wonky for a bit but finds its shaped once you start having things in it. I use it for larger stuffed animals and it does the job

This basket is gorgeous and feels like quality rope-cotton. It’s actually too big for me, but that’s my fault. I like that I am able to flatten it and store it beside the dryer against the wall so that it does not take up too much space when it is not in use. The only problem is that the picture shows a leather accent around at least one of the handles. That little leather handle would be helpful when trying to find where to insert one’s hands to pick it up and carry it.Instead, each time I want to pick it up, I have to run my hands around the whole circumference of the basket to find the slots that are between the ropes. If at least one of the handles had the leather accent, I could immediately find that handle, and I would know that the other handle is directly across from it.It’s a small thing, but when I’m already annoyed that I have to do laundry and other chores, I just get that much more annoyed each time I have to pick up the basket and I can’t find the handles quickly and simply lift it up.Otherwise, this basket is 100% fantastic. Actually, I guess that makes it 99% fantastic!

I like the size of these, I ordered them for storage of stuffed animals in my kid's rooms. However because of how they are shipped it is difficult to get them to become fully round. I've had some success just shoving a lot of stuffed animals down in there, but whenever they're not quite as full they start to fall down flat again. Just can't really get them to hold shape, which I know is because of how they were folded flat to ship. If I had to repurchase, I would likely just purchase from a store so they would be more upright and rounded.
