I like the size of this toy. It seems to be all plastic but I got for him to play with inside this winter and outside this summer. I think he's really gonna love it. I'll try to update this once he opens his gift. Merry Christmas

My grandson loves the things. They are durable and can withstand the playtime from a 3 year old.

Its ok for the price. My 3 yr old grand son loves it. But its not going to last long. I have had to reassemble and repair it for him a few times now. His metal ones are much sturdier but double or even triple the price. Its a 5 star toy if you are not expecting it to last like the metal ones.

I bought this for my grand son for Christmas and since he is only 3 he probably won't realize how poorly the rolling part of this dozer is. One of the four cheep plastic wheels mounted underneath this toy flops loosly and will bear no weight. When it is opened it will drag on the floor on that corner. Just like in a real dozer, the rest of the machine isn't much good if the undercarriage is bad. If there was more time I would have returned this item, but delivery is running so far behind it is better to just go with it. Since his father is a pretty important person at Caterpillar I'm sure they will hear what an inferior product the Cat name is attached to. This is the main problem with online shopping. Most of the time things go fine, but you get what you get and have to eat it, or deal with it later. If I had been able to shop for this in person, I could have seen the poor construction, and it would have never got in my cart. If the rolling part of this toy was as good as the top it would have been a great gift.
