Does crown source for gps pings, however to do the "live tracking" as advertised you have to be within ~30ft of the tag. Not much point in live tracking if you're less than 30~ ft away. The app is horrible and there is no support. I've also seen the tag show up at my house and over a mile away with the same time stamp. Not possible.

Basically a hot cold finder device that stores 3 airtag pings at a time. Was hoping to track my cats territory but with a small highway near the house and little IPhone users around can't quite pin it down with this device especially with a lot of 35mph pings going on. Having no prior usage of the airtag system I'm not sure if your supposed to get more information than the location of the device that pnged the tag but that is the only information you recieve with the app. But for a safe of mind proximity sensor with no sub fees not bad.

Don’t waste your money. The locator is not accurate at all. I put it on my cat and when I let him out it continues to show him in the house. I reset it but it made no difference.
