Purchased these to go on a 2002 Jeep TJ after reading on multiple sources they are pretty much THE rotor to get, and highly recommended to pair with the black magic brake pads. The rotors look great and have a nice coating to prevent rusting. When I bedded in my pads and rotors I had a stuck caliper on one wheel and had to drive home with the brake stuck on. It burned the coating off the one rotor and I expect it will rust so it is not a super high temperature coating but then again under any normal circumstance that would not have happened. The other rotor was still brand new looking after two bedding in sessions. I will stick with these centric rotors from now on if I ever need more. Only one gripe is that.. MADE IN CHINA.

These are working great 9 mos. after installation, and I love the coating which keeps everything looking nice. I hate working on vehicles with lots of unprotected metal parts underneath especially ones that are driven in the winter. Flaky rust falling into your eyes is no fun! They appear to be quality castings, nice and crisp with little roughness or flash. These are the rotors recommended by Black Magic Brakes for use with their pads for what it's worth; I'd take that as a good endorsement. If you have a '99 XJ like I do however make sure that you check your front wheel bearings and/or old rotors before ordering however. There are two different front wheel bearings that were used in the '99 model year and the bearings and rotors must match each other.
