After buying another “universal” remote that didn’t work and had to be returned, I decided to splurge on this one. Not that it’s super expensive, but it’s about 3 times as much as the POS I had to return. This one works perfectly and was super easy to set up. Definitely worth the extra bucks. Skip the others and just get this one. You’ll be happy you did.

This universal garage door opener worked great! There is no lag at all. My husband found it after our second attempt (the first universal remote we tried was not so universal 😂 )I added a screen shot of the YouTube video we used to program it. Programming itself was super easy, but one thing we had to do was hard reset the garage door opener that was hard wired on the wall in the garage by doing a long hold on the button until the garage door was completely shut.The issue we had was when we pressed the newly programmed clicker it would start to close but then shoot back up like it was sensing something was in the way, but there was nothing in the way.We found that holding the GARAGE WALL button down, , not the clicker, the garage door was able to fully shut. It was only after the hard reset that we were able to open and close the garage door normally using the new clicker!

Garage door manufacturer not within list of those given.Searched company, replacement door openers are $50 plus each from them.Typical.No color codes on rear of my motor unit to indicate how to program as described in this remote manual.Unsuccessful with app, and really did not want to download their app anyway.Always a gimmick.Do this.This will seem confusing to read, however will make sense in process.Copy, paste, print this out to bring with you into garage.Slide off cover on this new opener remote, revealing program button.Note reprogram button on garage door motor unit mounted to garage ceiling after removing cover.With door closed...and on your step ladder.One is supposed to press button on new remote the amount of times corresponding to their unit listed within instructions.If not listed, like mine..Press program button on new remote once. Light will flash.With cover removed from garage door unit (if you do not see button on outside.)Press similar "program" button on garage door unit once.Will be labeled program or learn or similar.Light will continue flashing on garage unit.On remote, press button you wish to use to open garage door.When it stops flashing, press again counting and noting number of times.Again, remember, waiting to press again only after light stops flashing.You will reach certain number of times when you will notice light on overhead garage door unit go solid.That is your "number" or code..Press program button again on new remote.Opener and door now coded and linked.Done.This is process and number to remember and to notate to use with all future generic openers for your garage door opener unit.You're welcome.Kind regards

Muy practico, tiene muy buena construcción y los botones son sólidos mejor que los de otros controles de la marca.

Decepcion total.Lo compre porque decía que su alcance era de 243. Yo activo la cochera para abrirla antes de llegar a ella, así solo meto el coche dentro. Mi control actual activa la cochera desde 50-80 metros de distancia y este control Chamberlain quedo por debajo del mínimo. Es decir ni siquiera a 50 metros abría la cochera. Solo mas cerca.La programación es complicada, mi cochera es GENIE y el procedimiento implica múltiples maniobras entre el control y el motor de la cochera. Al final se puede programar siguiente el proceso en el manual, sin embargo si tuve que hacerlo al menos 4 veces antes que quedara programado.No lo recomiendo.

Worked perfectly with my purple button opener. Programmed first try, excellent range, stops the door mid cycle if needed, works every time.I bought a cheap non-Chamberlain remote before and it did not work properly. Don't waste money on a cheap one. Get this OEM opener.

Compre este control como adicional al que tengo.Por la parte de adentro tiene un panel con números del 1 al 12. Aunque mi control original tiene un panel del 1 al 9, este funciona perfecto.La configuración que requería el control, para equipo que tiene el portón de mi fraccionamiento, no estaba especificado en mi instructivo, tuve que buscar en youtube para configurarlo. Otro detalle es que el alcance para abrir el portón tiene que ser a máximo 3 metros. (con original puedo abrir el portón desde unos 10 mts aprox)

Funciona excelente, buen alcance. Llego antes de la fecha estimada de entrega. Un poco complicada la programación como lo indica las instrucciones porque tengo el botón de pared. Lo que se tiene que hacer es apretar el botón seleccionado para abrir la puerta, dejarlo apretado y apretar el botón de luz del mando de la pared y sin soltar el botón del abre puertas del mando de la pared.

As explained in the product description, one clicker can be programmed to open two different garage door openers. Programming the clicker was very quick. I was able to program my two Chamberlain garage door openers in about 5 minutes. So far working like a charm! The product is smaller than it looks in the pictures which is excellent as it can be unobtrusively clipped to the sun visors! The finish of the material is a nice neutral black that goes with the interior of any car! Highly recommend it!
