These are great for pitching as they have the seams. You can throw all your pitches as you would with a normal ball.

As a pitching coach with 10+ years of experience, this is a necessity for every pitchers’ bag. Progressive overload makes throwing a softball seem effortless to even the younger girls as it develops their fingers/wrist snap.**Do not throw full motion with these balls as it causes wear and tear on the shoulder/rotator cuff area**These are JUST used for wrist flicks/snaps and possibly Ts/Xs/Ks/Ws, no further in motion.

As a high school softball coach and individual pitching coach with years of experience, I can confidently say that these weighted softballs are an absolute game-changer for young players aged 10 and up. I have tried numerous training aids over the years, but these softballs have quickly become my go-to tool for developing strong, skilled pitchers.

We bought these weighted balls on the recommendation of daughter’s trainer about 2 years ago. She uses the yellow ball at least once a week still after 2 years just to build strength in her wrist.
