My husband had lost his favorite fencing pliers that he had for decades. I took a gamble and bought these. It turns out these were the same brand and the same design. These were his most favorite Christmas gift. He asked me where in the world I found them. He says the other 3 pairs that he had bought to replace them, he threw them away when he received these. Perfectly balanced, apparently the greatest fencing pliers ever.

Channellock tools are the best!! I have used them my entire career. Never disappointed. If it broke (once), they replaced it, no charge, forever.

This is a quality item with a well recognized name, and that's why it's around twice the price of other similar tools. This tool, along with a good hammer works well when installing field fence, and barbed wire.
