I love how smoothly these needles go through three layers of cotton and batting.

I have used these chenille needles for years for my big stitch (utility stitch) hand quilting dine about 2015. They are the best! I like the size #24 needles because of they are slightly thicker and have a large eye. I normally use #8 perle thread for the quilting but 12wt thread is also good. The needle is quite sturdy and I have only broken one in all these years. I will be buying several more packages within the month as a hedge against the future. You can never have enough quilting needles!

Bought these for my husband as he is able to do his needle work easily. It makes his cross stitching easier to do.
