I’m rating this item five stars for its uniqueness along with functionality. Will it last forever? Probably not, but the time it took for two of us adults to assemble it was enjoyable and fun.We appreciated that detailed instructions were included, and every little piece was individually numbered; but to be creative and have fun, we decided to assemble it as you would other jigsaw puzzles. To be sure that it locks together absolutely correctly, though, we’ll reassemble it in the correct order…but it was fun hunting for the right pieces freestyle! The keychain is sturdy. The lobster clasp that latches onto the bail needs to be fiddled with to get it on, but it can be done. The artwork is one of my favorites, and is now easily portable to carry with me.

I have no idea why the packaging would imply that 3yr olds and up can enjoy this - the pieces are far too small for a young child to safely play with, and honestly the puzzle itself was mildly challenging for me as an adult. I also had some difficulty attaching the key chain as the hook was quite thick and the metal carabiner part had a very small opening. Apart from that, it was enjoyable to put together and looks very pretty once it's all assembled.

Well-made (pieces are sturdy to work with & edges smooth to fit) little puzzle trinket to put together with my 6 year old granddaughter who loves both puzzles and keychains--and I love Van Gogh's Starry NIght, so perfect for both of us to enjoy and seems like it will hold up fairly well (remains to be seen in use hanging on her backpack over time). Great for Easter baskets, Christmas stockings, or just a little surprise project to do together with a child.

The pieces of this globe puzzle are numbered. If you don't attach them in order, you may find the last piece hard to get in and that some of the others don't pop in very well. I ended up taking it apart and redoing in the correct order to get the globe to be correctly round. Once you get the globe correctly together, I don't know if it's possible to take it apart again. It's probably not something you'll do more than once. It was interesting to see how they modified the actual painting so it would fit on the globe and not look wrong.

Such a cute little package and item! We haven't put it together yet to test how strong it is put together, but it will be fun setting up with my young son.
