The cheese doesn’t come out of the holes. Functionality is not good. There’s a lever that moves back and forth to make the cheese come out faster but it’s a whole production. Not worth the trouble or effort.

This is a GREAT Kitchen Addition. I am using it for Parmesan cheese. I no longer have to shake the parmesan cheese container like crazy to break up the clumps before and during use. This shaker is designed to do it for you as you dispense. I don't have to worry about keeping my Parm fresh. The lid snaps on tightly and keeps the contents air free. Technically, I already paid for this dispenser since I was able purchased the large much cheaper size of Parmesan Cheese. The large container would not fit into my refrigerator without taking up an inordinate amount of space. Now I just use this smaller handy size container for dispensing my Parm. I am getting some for gifts as an exceedingly practical present.

12-Ounces Parmesan Cheese Shaker with Airtight LidGlass jar is oval shape which makes it easy to hold. It is also more appealing on the countertop than the store container. The dispensing holes are on the small side.Took about a month to receive on the proverbial slow boat from China. Very well packaged. Seems a little pricy, but what isn't these days?

This shaker worked perfect for me. I used it for my grated Cotija cheese. The shaker is easy to fill and clean. Its a little on the smaller size but not a big deal. I like the little rotator because it breaks up the cheese to become an even finer grated cheese. I also like how its a glass container and it has a lid. I’ve had it for a while now and maybe because it’s the kind of cheese I tend to use, but no sign of my cheese easily getting moldy and the holes are a decent size for consistent flow. Its been a great addition to my fridge and with a twist I have cheese for my tacos, tostadas, quesadillas and more.

Good size for rated cheese. The twist-able top is a great idea.
