If you already know about the Make it & Bake it suncatchers, then there's nothing more to read after this sentence. The title is all there really is to the review. The rest is just me blabbering. If you don't know, then these were definitely big in the 80s and for good reason. They're a fun, easy little project that can be done on your own or with others. They're not hard to make. They can be a bit tedious to ensure you don't get a piece in the wrong slot when building. But it's not hard. So if you want to ensure colors or not mixed, then supervise younger creators. If you don't mind a little bit of color mixing, then let The Young ones go at it alone with minimal guidance. I suggest at least reviewing their work to ensure the edges are filled in all the way up to the corners, and that the center of each section is somewhat heaping. If you don't feel the corners, then you will actually have a hole in that section. You generally don't need all of the plastic bits that come with it. You'll most always have some left over. If you put too much in each spot, then they will overflow into the next spot and you'll have color runs. If you do one and don't get it perfect, then you'll have a very good idea of how to do another one even better. But the reality is even ones with imperfections still look great.

I remember doing these as a kid so I purchased them for my kids to do. These are so much fun to do. One thing...really put more in there than you think you need, we did three of them and almost all of them had spots where the plastic didn't fill out the form. The instructions tell you to mound the plastic up and you really do need to do it.My 7 yr old got a bit bored with his because of how tedious it is. You are dealing with small bits of plastic and any movement of the frame causes them to jump and mix. We had to re-do his 3 times to get it right.
