I have a lot of rain shells but not a rain jacket that provides some warmth too. This jacket helps to fill that need. I wore it around the house while putting a bunch of things away going up and down the stairs and I surprisingly didn't get too warm or overheat like I expected and it's not a cold day, it's about 65 degrees inside. I tend to not get cold easily and sometimes run warm and I struggle with finding jackets that I don't overheat in. This has been working great so far. I was worried about the material being too shiny since that's not really my style but this is more of a matted shine if that makes sense and isn't too thick and bulky which is why I avoid puff jackets as well as the potential to overheat. I can't wait to test this in the rain. I’m 5’3” and about 125lbs and the fit is perfect where I can lightly layer on the inside and it goes well past my hips so I won’t feel a draft when bending down or sitting. The quality of the jacket is great, just what you would expect from Columbia. I'm super happy with this jacket and would recommend it to others.

I ordered black in medium. It fits true to size. Is a fitted cut, if you plan to wear a bulky sweater, you may consider sizing up. The black is a matte shine, very on trend. Not super shiny like patent leather but several shine tones down. Not obnoxious, but fashionable with some "look at me" flair. And the gold heat reflective technology really works. Not just a gimmick. I am rarely disappointed with Columbia products, especially their jackets. This hits all the marks. It is warm without being thick and it is form fitting yet you can easily move in it. You don't end up looking or feeling like the dough boy. The hood is well fitted around your face and stays up. Nylon YKK zipper goes up and down easily. Arms have elastic to keep air out and there is a drawstring at the back waist as well. Two large fleece lined pockets on front to keep hands warm and a smaller hidden zippered pocket on the inside breast to hold keys safe, etc. Has the Colombia logo on left arm rather than the front breast area.

This jacket is so pretty and bright and vibrant in color. I like the dual colors that really pop. I will always love a jacket with a hood, too. It's warm and cozy and fits nice and snug, with room for more layers if necessary.I think the price is pretty high so if it were not for Amazon Vine offering it for me to review, I would likely not be able to afford it.Lots of features and pockets are available. Pulls shut with the draw cord near the bottom of the jacket to keep the chill out.Grateful to have gotten to try this out!

This jacket is everything you would expect from a Columbia jacket. The color is gorgeous, the material is high quality and the jacket just feels good on. Puffy, but not too bulky or heavy. It is toasty warm in mild winter conditions. I ordered a size larger, thinking my wife would need the extra space for bulky clothing underneath, and it ended up being slightly too big. It runs trues to size so buy what you would normally wear. She’s 5’5” 140lbs 38DD and a large is too big. Overall, a great jacket with the quality you would expect from Columbia.
