I hesitate to give this five stars since it arrived broken, but aside from that, if it were functional, it would have been everything I hoped it would be. Amazon support took care of me as they usually do. Hopefully I'll be able to come back when I get my replacement, and add some additional thoughts after I get to test a working unit. I can say assembly of the legs was easy enough.

Great size and compact, but the most important part of a burner is the heat and flames , i have owned and had a lot of experiences on burners this burner has got to be the hardest one to get dialed in , keeps turning off, pressure is too high and then the regulator knob it is wiggling therefore you dont know if it is actually adjusting

This burner puts out serious heat. I bought this mainly for the purpose of wok cooking. My first time using it, I was impressed. You can really control the flame well on this burner. I like it roaring when doing stir frying and I'm able to get that wok hei. Easy to assemble and it even comes with a carry bag. I plan on taking it camping also. Well worth the price.

First impressions - it's some serious cast iron, I had no idea it would be this heavy. I haven't had the opportunity to use the burner yet, but after checking it out it looks pretty decent. It's definitely big enough to put just about any large size cooking vessel on. The burner holes are all clear and well made. I do have a few concerns with it though. First, it was a bit fiddly to put the legs on, the slots in the legs are quite large so there is a lot of slop in them and getting everything to stand flat was annoying. Second, where the legs attach to the burner, the burner has not been machined flat. If you know anything about casting you'll know that if you want a flat surface you have to machine after casting as casting is not exact. The problem is, as you can see in one picture, the legs don't fully contact the burner. This is a problem because cast iron can also be brittle, it does not like to bend at all. So when you tighten your legs down be sure not to crank on them too hard. The 3rd thing I found problematic is that there are no instructions for using it, just assembly. You'd think using it would be straight forward, but there is a an adjustable collar on the end near the hose and I don't know if it should be closed all the way or not or what its function is. The last thing is minor, but a bag is provided for storage or transport, however you would need to disassemble the burner to fit it in and that seems like a pain the rear to me. All in all it's a decent burner, but $70 worth? The jury is still out on that.
