4 computer kvm switching with Edid for under $300. It sounded too good to be true, and it was. The video switching seemed to work ok (both HDMI and DP). The USB however had issues. I don't know if I got a bad one but my Windows PC reported errors with the USB, though it seemed to mostly work (just a keyboard and mouse). A couple of Linux systems however (different hardware) would not recognize the USB devices through this. They acted like nothing was plugged in (tried different cables, ports, and a different kb). The USB feature of this just wouldn't work at all with them, even in the BIOS (no OS involved) . So, back it goes and reenforcement of that old lesson is all I have to show for my troubles "If it sounds too good to be true..."

Great product dose all I need, only thing is the USB3 Cables are a bit bulky for my Setup, they work well just a bit of a tight fit for my liking, would like something a bit more flexible.

I got this because I wanted to save some space on peripherals for 3 computers that I rarely use actively at the same time. So far I have had no compatibility issues with 3 ports occupied (All 4 tested good), running a Pi, A linux computer, and a windows computer. It's a nice compact switch and it has been plug and play for everything I've thrown at it.

I connected 4 computers with the included cables, and it worked exactly as advertised. I connected a Dual 4K monitor docking station, mouse, keyboard and USB backup drive and all work perfectly.The included, wired remote has one small issue in that the numbers do not match with the cable connections. A bit of trial and error though, and all is well.My ask for the manufacturer would be to include USB-C cables instead of USB A
