This 10Gbps USB-C Switcher is a handy device for sharing keyboards, mice, cameras, USB headsets, and microphones between two computers. With two USB-C and two USB-A ports, it makes switching between devices effortless. The 10Gbps data transfer speed keeps everything running smoothly, and the wired remote makes toggling between computers super easy. Plus, it comes with two USB-C data cables for added convenience. It’s a great pick for anyone juggling multiple workstations.

A decent switch but limited in functionality as this does not support video or power. Good for switching other devices like keyboards, mice, memory sticks and printers. Could be portable if necessary. Easy to use and install. The metals appears to be high quality and durable.

This 10Gbps USB-C switcher is a game-changer for managing multiple devices across two computers. It allows for easy switching between a personal and work laptop while sharing peripherals like a keyboard, mouse, and external SSDs. The 10Gbps transfer speed ensures fast and stable data transfers, and the inclusion of both USB-C and USB-A ports makes it versatile for different accessories. One of the standout features is the wired remote control, which keeps the workspace clutter-free while offering convenient switching. The switch does not support video transmission, so it's not a KVM, but for USB device sharing, it works flawlessly. If you need a reliable, high-speed USB switch for a dual-computer setup, this is a fantastic choice!

You lose a bit of the theoretical 10Gbps performance but otherwise a solid pseudo-KVM. Switching works as expected, seems durable, no connectivity surprises. Compatible with Mac and Windows.

I'm using this USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub to share a larger desktop hub between two PCs. I like the remote switch with LED indication of which PC is active, so I can keep the hub under the desk with the PCs. Hub worked fine on Linux and ran at 680 MB/s on an SSD. I like that this doesn't need a separate power supply, since USB-C from PCs can handle it. Included cables have no 10 Gbps marking so don't mix them up with normal cables. You'll need USB-A-to-C adapters for PCs with USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports.USB voltage regulation is OK, dropping to 4.7V with 2A load. Uses boost converter to avoid drop from PC to hub from affecting devices; I fed it 4.6V to PC input and it output 5.0V to devices (USB-C ports don't support PD power, just 5V). Handles 2.35A maximum on a USB port before shutting power off. Ripple is low, 0.85%, with 30 mV p-p (2 mV AC RMS) at 37 kHz. Included USB-C cables drop to 4.7V with 3A load, pretty standard.Looking inside, it uses a Genesys chipset. USB-A and USB-C ports are through-the-hole connectors, and metal case holds ends of ports in place, so they should be durable over time.My only real issue was the connectors all being overly tight. USB-A and USB-C are all tight and hard to plug cables into and remove them; USB-A is really difficult, and I tried with several different USB-A devices that all plug in smoothly on my PCs and hubs. If these were smoother it would be a decent value at the current $40 price.
