If you know cables then you know what the important issues are, awg and soft and durable insulation. This cable has both and a great price. I use it to extend my EV charging capabilities. Tip: buy spiral wrap to wrap cable if it will be dragged back and froth in the driveway like I have to. It's a good buy. It's basic and true and good.

This 50 amp 14-50 cord is just what I needed. Very study and well manufactured. Did the job. No complaints. Better than I expected. Used to power a Thermador stove/ovens for 6 hours on clean. Cord stayed nice and cool and was easy to plug and unplug. Now I am going it use it to power my camper. I really like the blue lights showing it is powered.

Good quality. Works well. The end fits through the access port in my electrical compartment so I can keep the cabinet door closed and locked. I like the led indicators.

Me parece muy buen producto. Estoy muy satisfecho porque soporta el amperaje por varios minutos, sin incrementar prácticamente su temperatura.

We bought a second Tesla and I had originally installed a 14-50 to charge but later added the wall charger on a seperate line as I knew a second EV was in the future. Now I needed a way to get my 14-50 plug extended over the first parking spot to the second parking spot. Knowing I am moving in a few years I did not want to spend the money to move the plug so this seemed like a good idea. Also this gives me some travel versatility if that is ever needed.I seen reviews that this cable is to stiff, IMO I don't think for 6/3 gauge with an 8 gauge ground the cable is stiff, in fact I think it is as flexible as one could expect for this size cable.BTW I have a Gen1 UMC on this cable to charge the car and that draws a steady 40 amps. The blue LED's are not much use for EV purposes but if you were using this for an RV I could see in a dark camping spot they would be handy to see you have power when you plug it in.Yes the cable is heavy but it seems very well built.

Been charging my Tesla Model 3 with this, until the charging station gets installed. With an adapter, I connected this to my 30A dryer plug. So I could have bought a 30A cable. It's easy to dial down the car's amp intake, say to 24A (you should charge at 80% of breaker rating). But who knows, perhaps I'll need the extra capacity some day.30A cable would have been lighter. But I don't plan on carrying it in trunk daily. If I ever use it again, it will be on a road trip.Till it came, charging in regular outlet at 120v and 15A gave me 8km per hour of charging. With this dryer connection (240V x 24A = 5760 watts of charging power) , I now get 40km per hour of charging.Make sure to also buy an adapter that fits your dryer receptacle, and for the other end, make sure to buy the Tesla adapter to NEMA 14-50. They no longer come standard with the car, and can take some time to ship. And protect the connection from the rain.Tesla does not recommend the use of extension cords. Probably because of people not doing their homework before selecting cords. Always research the necessary amp rating, and talk to an electrician.
