These are the best contigo cups. Easy to clean. UPDATE: As far as I can tell, ive had this cup 6 months, it's also dent & scratch proof. I've dropped this several times and so far I haven't put a scratch on it. Love, love this cup

I got some of these for a recent winter trip. We had some smaller sized ones of the previous design, and those are still doing okay after a number of years. The colors are coming off of those, but that is because we throw the bottom parts in the dishwasher from time to time. You can do that, but it will eventually effect the paint job.These are still incredibly leak proof, and if you lock the lid, you can't accidentally make them spill.They hold heat for a long time! I put boiling water and some herbal tea in early in the morning, and even by noon I could barely sip from it, because everything was still so hot. Finally I ended up taking off the lid for a while to let things cool enough to where I could actually drink some. Another day I didn't get to it until 10-12 hours later, and that was about the right amount of time to where it had cooled slightly.Although these are made for not spoiling y during a commute, they are fairly easy to drink out of. Just hold the button down and drink. Let go and your back to leak proof.

We bought a set for Christmas for me and my honey. We love the colors and really keeps our coffee warm for hours.My honey is straightforward black coffee, so her maintenance is easy.Mines a bit more challenging because I like to add a bit of chocolate milk (poor mans mocha). I've got to say we have a shelf full of failed coffee cups (in my estimation).Mainly because when you add a milk product to coffee the characteristics change in temperature and the ability to clean it throughly. These have inner exposed mechanisms that clean up fairly easily.Note: we don't run these through the dishwasher, we've learned from experience not to. The colors begin to fade quickly, so we hand wash them.

Love the design and color of these mugs. Love the textured look and feel of the mugs. It keeps the hot coffee hot longer than our old mugs. The thing we like most is the design of the top. Our old mugs had so many little cracks and crevices that would eventually get gunk caught in it making it had to clean (they were also the Contigo brand). These tops actually have a cover on the bottom that keeps coffee/cream out of the top of the cap. The cover can be flipped open to clean anyway, but it is so much better than the last cap.
