Finally got this installed and lasted about 5 mins and then stopped working all together. Never had a unit last this short amount of time.

This is my second one (sold the first with last kayak) that I've used to run a minnkotoa c2 trolling motor on my fishing kayak. Mounts nice in my blackpack pro and then used ethernet cable to extend out the speed control and reverse to a remote box I keep beside my seat. Thiese things have powered thru many hours of fishing and never had a hickup or came close to overheating.

It only work for about 5 hours and gave up. I’m only doing one star because there is no less option. Can I get my money back, please!

Works as per expectations. I use it on 12V/40A MinnKota Transom Mount Trolling Motor . To be on the safe side, I mount it on an aluminum "L" rail that acts as an eventual heat sink (a few reviewers complained about damaged unit after a few usages. Probably overheating was the cause). This kind of device is already incorporated in most of recent electric motors made by MinnKotta to prolong the autonomy.
