Cereal, soup, salad, the uses are endless.One drawback is the fit in the dishwasher. Not impossible, just takes up more space.I got the 8 bowl set. None have broken yet

Love these bowls. We have the smaller ones but decided to look for bigger ones to match my other Corelle dishes. Nice and deep for cereal, soup or stews. You can fill up half the bowl and hold easily in your hand if not sitting at a table. Takes up a bit more space in the dishwasher but don’t mind really.
