I was very surprised that the foam padding was actually pretty good. Has a good range of adjustability and fits my large sized head. Feels better than the official pro version.

The head strap was pretty comfortable to wear but the middle hinge on each side of the headset didn't work. The hinges would have made it much easier to get the head set on and off or lift up for a moment. I also didn't like that the front edges did not sit flush with the rounded edges of the left and right side of the headset. The quality just wasn't as good as the previous head strap that I have for the quest 2.

Very cheap and does not look like picture in ad. If it lasts longer than a month i will change rating. Also smaller than picture. Looks like it is built for a child

I knew just from the look of it that I would need to upgrade the included strap on the Quest 3 so, after some investigation to see what was available, decided on this elite style strap and have been pleasantly surprised. The strap itself is very lightweight but still feels sturdy, and the cushioned pads are very comfortable. Most appreciated of all, the padded top strap somehow doesn’t cause VR strap hair! I was going to get the Bobo strap when it released for Quest 3, but this strap was so inexpensive and is working so well, I may just keep it on full time.

I was first in line to get the newest Meta Quest 3 and I love it! I was playing Beat Saber and killin' Zombies and all that fun stuff one does in VR but every time I took the Quest off my head a handful of hair came with it! Have you ever noticed the guys who demo VR units are either bald or have really really short hair?! The head strap that comes with the Quest 3 is NOT hair friendly and it doesn't even feel that secure. Now this one... this one is great. Sure... you look like a dork but ya kinda do when you wear the headset anyway... right? This weighs next to nothing and yes, it does have Velcro across the top but I don't actually even use it. You might feel a little strange screwing it onto your head. Like you're putting you head in a wood vice or something but, honestly, it is super comfortable. It distributes the weight of the headset quite nicely and you hardly even know you're wearing it. One slight peeve... the "manual" (sheet of paper folded in thirds) mentions "colorful running lights" and a place to charge the band (to make these work). Well the unti I got had neither lights nor a charger. I thought of docking it half a star just for poor product manual follow through but, honestly, why do you need "running lights" on a VR head strap anyway?
