I primarily use this for camera bodies and accessories to hold my phone and take photos. The lanyard is incredibly well-built, almost overbuilt for a camera or a selfie stick. It's very comfortable and easy to adjust. It has a wide paracord loop, which would work nicely with heavier clothing. It just needs a little wear to soften the lanyard, as it's a bit stiff out of the package. The little padded washer at the end of the screw gives a good grip on the camera body and has a good range of motion. It perfectly fits into a selfie stick and a camera base.I tried yanking on the clips, and they are strong and made of really good material. It's definitely built for rough terrain and heavy objects, and I wouldn't hesitate to attach it to my most expensive and heaviest camera. It's loaded with features like a compass, whistle, and a small serrated blade in the clip, which is revealed when you open the clip. It's surprising but might be useful for something.I did try the whistle but didn't check the accuracy of the compass. It's so tiny that you're probably just looking for a general direction to get out of wherever you are. I would love for somebody to explain the serrated blade, but I guess it might come in handy in an emergency situation.A feature I like is the clip. If I need to quickly free my hands from what I'm carrying, it's easy to close back up by sliding the clip back in. One issue is that the clip is omnidirectional, and you must have the serrated blade in the correct position to lock in properly. It's a very smartly built unit, and its price is competitive with other products. It's an excellent value, and I highly recommend it.

This camera wrist strap is simple and handy to have. Many times I do worry that my hands would slip and I drop my camera. This lanyard strap is good enough to give me a bit of security. It screws easily into the bottom of my camera and the wrist strap easily slips onto my wrist and tightens up with the default slip knot buckle on the lanyard. The build quality feels pretty good and does look like it can withstand a good amount of force. Overall, I am happy with this wrist strap.

This is an excellent wrist strap for providing extra security for expensive equipment. It’s very thick braiding; the only potential weak spot is where the end pieces, those on the two straps, one on each side of the connecting buckle, are glued at the ends to prevent the nylon paracord from fraying and unravelling. Other than that, it’ll take a knife to inflict any damage to the wrist strap; if for any reason it ever gets caught on machinery, the user’s hand will be dislodged before the wrist strap breaks. Imagine a user in Bangkok with their camera attached at the wrist, viewing the city with fresh eyes, when two hooligans on a motorcycle drive by and grab the camera; well, they’re going to get more than they bargained for. All of the hardware, which includes the buckle and various stainless-steel rings, looks more than durable enough to withstand that sort of maltreatment. The wrist strap adjusts easily around the wrist, and any attached equipment can be quickly released at the buckle; a really handy feature. The 1/4" D-ring attachment screw is the feature I appreciate most; it’s an industry standard size, allowing the wrist strap to be attached to a large variety of accessories and cameras. In the end, it makes for inexpensive insurance. Imagine what would happen to your Go Pro if you had it over water on an extension pole, that you didn’t have secured at the wrist, and a bee crawls in your ear and stings you on the brain. At least that Go Pro isn’t going to sink to the bottom. The Rigdance Wrist Strap comes with a humorous (sweet really) assortment of Cracker Jacks box “extras,” that include a little compass, a whistle and a 1/2" knife blade; all built into the connecting buckle. This leaves the user prepared should they unwittingly wonder off into a Borneo jungle with their Go Pro, finding themselves disoriented. The compass comes in handy, but they suddenly find themselves fighting off a giant anaconda. While whistling for help, they whip out the blade; all is not lost. The Rigdance QR Wrist Strap is a solidly built accessory that can secure expensive equipment from accidently being released to an unknown fate. Moreover, it might save your life.

For some of my smaller cameras, especially when I am trying to be as minimalist as possible, I prefer wrist straps over neck straps. This one is very sturdy, and the hardware to attach to your camera feels very secure. I have no doubts my camera will be safe as long as I have properly tightened the strap. I am excited to use this one, and it will live primarily on my Yashica Electro 35 GSN.
