I have a gas-powered blower with a liquid mister tank that I use to spray various insecticides and poisons (bifen, etc.). The shoulder straps that came with it were positively awful -- overly puffy, badly fitted, poor attachment points, etc. I spent as much time fighting with the harness as I did using the machine to apply chemicals.I ordered these replacement straps to see if they were any better, and the good news is that they are. They have a better structure to them, and the attachment hardware is significantly higher quality. I am giving a four-star review because I still wish that the straps were firmer. The padding is good, but they're still just a little too squishy, which makes it feel like the machine can move around on my back more than I would prefer while working. You don't want unpadded straps when your backpack weighs over 50lb when full -- but you also don't want it feeling like it is swaying around on your back while you're walking on rough terrain trying to spray in full protective gear, mask, gloves, etc. These straps are an 85% solution -- not perfect, but worlds better than what I was originally dealing with.

I have a carry bag for a foldable firearm that came with a single sling, but was capable of supporting two.Since I prefer the functionality of a back pack, I elected to order these straps.They absolutely get the job done making it much easier carrying the pack into the range, however, if I needed to use this pack on a hike it would be uncomfortable.Functionality is 100% there, padding is just a bit thin for what is prefer.If your needs are a short walk and thicker padding isn't going to affect you, these are super.
