Cardboard Cutter for Cat ScratchersI had never seen such a device before, and I thought I was doomed to gather cardboard "I'll totally cut up and use" and never actually use it!! This little device comes pre-installed with a blade, and comes with several extras. The best way I can describe it is: when your scissors get that perfect zoom slice on wrappiing paper? That's this thing, every time. It couldn't have taken me more than 15 minutes to cut down all of the amazon boxes I had gotten that day.It has exactly 1 purpose, and it does a really good job at it. I would absolutely recommend this little guy for cat parents so you could refill your worn through scratching pads.

This tool is a cool concept, it cuts down extra cardboard to small strips so you can make your own cat scratchers!It does have a learning curve in use, I wish I could explain how I got it to work, but I don't know. Mainly the blade needed to be at the furthest part of the top of piece of cardboard you are cutting. Then with a little strength and dexterity, you can pull it thru the tool to cut the pieces. I was 50/50 with it cutting all the way through, or basically perforating the cardboard. Was a little frustrating but I love challenges and projects so I kept going and was able to cut up an entire box to make the attached scratcher. I'm hopeful with more practice and patience I can make more that are a little more precise and even so it looks and works better.I like that it comes with extra blades so you can keep cutting cardboard as much as you want!This is a great tool for creating, would be best used by a teen up to an adult given the dexterity required.
