Last year when it snowed, my sidewalks got slick as glass so I planned ahead this year and ordered this. Made shoveling my sidewalks a breeze compared to the regular shovel I attempted last year. I live in TN so it's not something we usually need but it was handy this year. Light, sturdy, and did it's job.

I really liked the shovel in the pictures as it’s listed. The poles are a hard plastic and the poles are connected with a button you push in for the poles to fit together. The poles should have a tight fit. If too much pressure is put on the shovel, it will snap and break. The shovel is made for light snow shoveling. I will be returning it next week. I wouldn’t recommend it but rather go to the local hardware and pick up one. Now, I have to go buy one that will remove 9 inches of snow not just the first couple inches. The reason I purchased online, avoid the store.

This is a normal size snow shovel that comes in four different sections with three couplings that easily snap together. Although convenient for portability, each of the couplings has some play so the shovel feels wobbly and flimsy. The construction of this shovel is on the light to medium duty level and even though its advertised to endure in the harshest winter conditions, it wouldn’t work well for wet or packed snow like we see in Minnesota. I Personally didn’t find anything whatsoever ergonomic about this shovel. The handle and grip is the same as all of my other shovels which are standard “non ergonomic” shovels. The aluminum blade edge is in a rounded V shape so scraping the snow down to the pavement isn’t the same as that of a flat sharp blade. Compared to solid metal handled plastic shovels that are sold at the big box stores, I would consider this to be considerably overpriced for what it is. When compared side by side to lower priced options, it lacks in structure, function and durability.
