As I've started using this Bible, I'm enjoying the sermon notes of Spurgeon on the pages giving perspective to scripture. The font size is easy to read, and I like the sage green print used for highlights/book & chapter, & page numbers. I'm finding it a nice study Bible. Would be a wonderful gift.

The leather is soo soft! The translation is also very understandable. Spurgeon’s commentary really shows his love for Christ, which is character that every believer should strive to emulate.

I found this study bible when I was searching for a CSB to try (My personal favourite has been NKJV and my pastor uses ESV).Being a C. H. Spurgeon fan I had to have it!I love this for the reasons below:1. CSB is nice and smooth to read.2. Spurgeon’s commentary is truly engaging and beautiful.3. Large font that’s easy on my aging eyes.4. Its Goatskin cover is lovely.For your information, this is not a “thorough” study bible like ESV Study Bible or Life Application Study Bible that has detailed historical backgrounds of each book and study notes on every single verse.I don’t recommend this one as your 1st and only (well, at least for a while) study bible for that reason.

Well constructed. Bought this as a present for my son. Alistair Begg edited notes and very readable format on solid paper not onion skin like many bibles.

Excellent high quality goatskin binding. The font in the Scripture portions is surprisingly large and very easy to read. It is a very useful tool.
