Riding in Southern California with a loose hard pack can be a challenge. I experimented with many tires before finding these gems. These tires will hold in the loose hard pack (no wash out) as well as climb up over solid rock. It's a great tire for overall dry soil conditions (don't have much rain here to test in wet conditions), and the price, wow.... I bought several sets....

wanted to try CST brand, only have one ride on this tire as a rear on my Titus Motolite, but I like the climbing traction, and has a lot better cornering feel than my old standard Panaracer smoke. Weight is in line with Kenda Excavator, but seems to roll a bit faster.
