A decent pair of boots which shows its handywork at certain areas (arch edges for instance) quite obviously (not a good thing but not a bad thing if one is not a snob). Okay to wear with long socks if shaft is inside pant leggings as front shin chaffing is may happen due to the the rims rubbing awkwardly and roughly against naked shin skin (at least for my right shin); no chaffing if boots are worn over pant leggings. Provides decent arch/heel support though with about a 02 inch height boost (nice but weird to suddenly be 6'2".). Cuadra is a decent brand and is usually more 'style' than comfort but this pair appears to have been intended as a balance between style and comfort so while they are decent looking formal boots the attempt at comfort is somewhat a miss (see chaffing issue above). These are first-ish (second edit) impressions. Wear and tear will be updated in due course. Have had a different Cuadra boots for quite some time which are overall okay but the TPU soles wear down quite quickly. As for the purchasing experience, am respectfully done with Amazon because DHL Fiji is just dishonest, incompetent and crap or (a DIC). These boots were part of another invoiced Amazon order and were shipped later than other items and while other items were shipped earlier, they are still held up in Fiji customs (so the DHL dics say) despite me having provided all required information and documents well before time. The DHL customer service is worse than a joke (at least jokes could be funny) and their customs agents are, to quote, garbage. Am done with Amazon because there is no choice to pick my own courier. For someone who does online purchasing in Fiji, cheap is an option but having reliable (even if not cheap) courier alternatives would help with consumer freedom of choice. However Amazon arbitrarily goes DHL so am done with Amazon (not because Amazon sucks....people say it does, but I can't say that...but for me DHL Fiji sucks for its dishonesty and greed). Good boots but a waste of my time. Eff you all of DHL Fiji and your dishonest customs agents.
