There are a lot of pros and cons for this shoe but most are probably related just to me or someone with my same issues/pet peeves.The quality of the shoes is very good. The sewing is strong. The straps over the top of the foot are adjustable allowing for a perfect fit. The sole is more of a spongy rubber than a hard rubber. These are a very comfortable pair of shoes but I would not call them espadrilles'. These are 100% flat and here's the problem ... for me. i have an extremely bad back and can't wear a completely flat shoe. I need a 'heel' that's even as small as 1/4" whether it''s a slight 'wedge' or a kitten heel. A completely flat shoe will exacerbate the back pain within an hour. Also, I tend to upsize this type of shoe and clogs because I dislike my heel hitting the very back edge as these do. I'll probably keep these for my outdoor shoe to grab the mail or run around the yard.Other than those personal issues, these are a great pair of shoes.

My daughter is a solid 9 shoe. This fits exactly for her and she can sometimes sneak in at an 8.5. If you are on the larger size of a 9, I would size up. But otherwise, they are cute and she likes them!

I am a shoe snob. Yup. I admit it. When I saw these come up as a suggestion from Amazon, I couldn’t believe how much they looked like my Birkenstock’s. The funny thing about that is I own every color except for a chocolate brown. I showed them to my husband and he said that he didn’t know the difference of what I was showing him compared with my other sandals. I must say that these are a fabulous fit. The quality is impeccable, and the value is quite unbelievable compared with what I usually pay for such a similar sandal. I have the longest legs with an extremely narrow foot that fluctuates between a size 9-10. I decided on a size 9 because that what my Birkenstocks are and I was correct. They are extremely comfortable. The color is fabulous. Once again, I tried them on after going for my morning run. That is why I am wearing compression socks with running shorts which you can’t see. Would I purchase this brand again? Absolutely. With the holiday season fast approaching, I would even purchase these for any member of my family. They are a great sandal that is durable and fits impeccably.
