We live in an area that's prone to some windy days, and we could not for the life of us keep our privacy screen down. It ripped through zip cords, metal twists, and eventually slipped the grasp of screw and washersThis worked perfectly for hooking through the screen, and also securing it tightly to the fence. We have not had it flap up since.

Unfortunately I either misread the ad or didn't judge the horizontal measurement very well. We have wrought iron grillwork made with square tubing. Round end U-bolts do the job but are designed for poles, not square tubes. This product is too narrow for my intended use but I will have opportunities to use them on the grillwork in the future.This is a great product including all the hardware to attach the U-bolts. We have two sizes of square tubes; I thought they would fit the larger tubes - they don't. But they will fit nicely with the smaller tubes so they will be handy to have down the road.
