I have been using baitcasters for the past few years now and this is one of my favorite reels. It is super easy to tune, functions flawlessly, and is built with quality parts. I will actually probably order another one before fishing season kicks off. Highly recommend!

Tatula reels are awesome! Smooth, cast a mile, durable, easy to use, solid! Buy one you won't regret it!

I use certain brand baitcaster. This is my first Daiwa.....I tried it and ......one word. Fantastic.

This is a very nice, super smooth, reel. The T-wing system really works and this bait caster casts farther and has fewer backlashes than my cheaper bait casters. The Magforce-Z cast control works great and is very fine-tunable with its 20 position clicker. I caught about 20 Striped bass and Bluefish on this reel during my first weekend using it. I caught two Stripers (one 26'' and the other 23'') at once on a double hook rig, and this reel handled the double fish easily. This reel is very compact and easy to palm. I paired this reel with a St Croix Triumph medium-heavy rod and it's a great setup. For the price, I think this is one of the best baitcaster reels on the market.That being said, I do have a higher end (and much more expensive) Daiwa Coastal 150 SV and a Shimano Curado 150 DC, and both of those reels are smoother and cast farther with less effort and risk of backlash. Those reels are nearly double the price of a Tatula CT though, so it's hardly a fair comparison. In this price range, the Tatula CT is hard to beat!
