Still have a few portable drives that use the Micro-B format – the drives work fine, but I always have to hunt for the necessary Micro-B cable (of which I only have one remaining, the others have gotten lost over the years). So finding out that adapters were available? Sign me up please!Adapter fits exactly as it should, making positive contact with all connections when inserted into the drive. Can't verify the actual transfer rate, all I know is that they work and give me another way to access drive data. Now I'll be able to use them for a while longer before having to send all the old drives off to the land of obsolete computer peripherals.

I have an old portable drive that works great but it uses this older Micro-B type adapter which is not easy to find in any of my local stores.No issues or errors, no decrease in speed, just an easy connection for an older device.The adapters are quite solid and stay in place when plugged in, I would expect them to last.

A few weeks ago I was working on a project with a hard drive someone loaned me and it had this odd kind of Micro B port on it. My worst fear was that I would lose the one cable that allowed me to connect the drive to the computer. Sure, everyone has a billion USB-A and C wires, but this connection is downright uncommon.When I saw these adapters, I knew they’d be handy to have just in case as a backup solution. I also help folks with tech, and it’s fantastic to be able to keep one of these in my tech-adapter bag at all times for when it’s needed. You can’t carry every kind of wire with you, but adapters are far easier to tote daily.These feel solid and well-made. They look good. I love that the data speed is clearly labeled on the exterior, and I love that the transfer speed is so high.

These will come in handy with older computer stuff I just inherited.
