Perfect fit! HAd a B43M eat it's starter, ended up being the brushes. THis kit looked right, and ended up being the direct replacement for the brushes. And at 23 bucks deelivered, couldn't lose. The hardest part was holding 4 brushes while I slid it back together! Couple of homemade C clips and all was done. New starter was 100 bucks plus, this kit was simpler. Now, if only changing the starter was THAT easy!

If you are the least bit mechanically inclined, you can replace the brushes on you starter. I had an outboard with a very slow running starter and swapped the new kit out. The starter was brought back to life.I still bought a new starter, but I have the rebuilt one ready to go in case/when I need it.
