Purchased this for my 2005 Ford Escape. Perfect fit and function. Ordered Thursday around noon and had it delivered Friday afternoon. Very quick shipping, Box had some damage but no damage inside

I originally bought this alternator in December 2018, fit and finish is good, and bolted right up without any modifications when I finally needed it in June 2019. It ran as it should for 10 weeks before failing. After spending 1/2 hour on the phone with Amazon (the warranty provider for DB electrical), and explaining to them what a warranty is and why the 30 day return window has no bearing on said warranty, I had another new alternator in my hands. I got it installed on September 16th 2019 and it failed on October 16th 2019.The attached picture is the end of the winding that broke off the rotor and was rattling around inside the case along with pieces of the insulator.I am very concerned now, not only because this is a 4-6 hour job (bills out at 8 hours in the dealership) that I have had to do 3 times now, but, also because I am approaching the end of the 1 year warranty and it seems Amazon just keeps shipping parts from the same bad batch.Edit 11/4/20: I am reviewing my review to one star because zero is not an option. My third alternator from this company has now failed with just over a year of service. Clearly there are QC issues and Amazon just keep shipping the same BAD products.
