The second replacement failed immediately like the first. The power supply in this application is 24 VDC--the spec says up to 110 VDC. The load is 200 mA-- the spec says 1000 mA (1 Amp). Let's say we're at 20%. If you are switching a very low level, like a digital input, you should be fine. The material and construction is very good. The conclusion is that the internal reed switch cannot meet the published specifications by a significant amount.I also find it interesting that out of a couple dozen reviews, there is only one with a comment beside the one I am about to leave. (FWIW, this comment is coming from an industrial controls engineer.)

Used this for a low level switch in a fuel cell.Plastic was fine for meth, but need stainless for E85. Threads did not want to get real tight on a 3/4 npt bulkhead fitting, but a little Seal All fixed it up.
