Metal strip is flexible enough to bend over a 50mm box-profile ridge and still make a water-tight seal (using silicon and screwed down with tex screws). Advice given to me on a box-profile steel roof was to use the largest possible size Dektite flashing for the flue diameter (as quite a bit is used going over the ridge): I agree with this advice.

I used this for installing a woodstove in a camper. Installation was easy and the materials are good quality. Seals nicely around the stove pipe and have had no leaks thus far. Would buy again.

Excellent product, was a bit worried about trying this, used it on my log burner through a metal roof, works fine didn’t melt, and sealed water tight. My log burner is single flue and tin roof, about 2meters from fire, put temperatures gauge at the top and read 250 degrees. So it’s fine thanks.

Fantastic item. Cost about half as much as using metal and is WAY better. Cut to fit and strech over whatever size pipe you are using. I used insulated stove pipe which is about 8 14 and this fit with room to spare.Follow the instructions and DO NOT use a knife to cut. Use tin snips or scissors. I didn't do this and ended up ripping my first boot when I was stretching it over the pipe. Used snips the second time and it worked like a charm!
