This item is extremely overpriced. Similar items that look the same and perform the same function can be purchased for about $30. The material used in both rods are the same. I would not purchase this item.

It needs a swivel at the top because of fitting in not perfectly tru it will not be straight

So, it is exactly what it says, arrived packed well and on time. However, during our remodel-since our plumber didn’t make it to install the newly plumbed shower right away, it turns out we didn’t need it (it was too long for our space & the plumber wouldn’t cut it down); although at the time, it was the only one we could find in matte black…and with Delta you are buying the parts separately, but we didn’t know we weren’t going to be able to use it, in this current contractor labor shortage market, till after the 30 day return policy!! Now I am the owner of a $78 Delta part that I can’t return….very disappointing!!!

Well made and will serve the purpose. Another review noted that even though the shower arm is chrome, they received a base flange that was white. The white color on the flange is from a protective plastic wrap to prevent scratches during shipping. It should be pealed off and discarded at the time of installation (revealing the chrome underneath).

the actual pipe is really nice, but the fact that it comes with a white base (flange) is very disappointing. The description mentions chrome flange, and two pictures shown on amazon show chrome bases (different ones at that). if the shower kit I bought didn't already come with a chrome base I would have sent this back as not as advertised.
